Idea #4: Bible Character Boxes
This Children’s Ministry idea was inspired by a Montessori learning activity which teaches about the seven continents of the world. The idea behind the activity was that students could choose a continent box containing a variety of reading materials, hands-on activities, and artifacts connected with a specific continent.
The same idea could be used in Children’s Ministry to explore Bible stories or Bible characters. Boxes could be labelled according to significant Bible characters and filled with pictures, games, activities, Scripture verses, and background information on those specific biblical characters. Would be a great welcome or arrival activity to use in your classroom or small group as you wait for all of the students to arrive!
